My greatest passion/hobby outside of my career is playing music — I’ve played guitar, bass guitar and harmonica since I was 20, 15 and 14, respectively. Playing music, especially with other musicians (and even more so onstage), is one of my favorite things to do. It feels electrifying and meditative at the same time.
From our formation in 2018 to our amicable breakup in 2022, I served as the bassist for an Atlanta-based rock band called The Night Howlers that I co-founded with three friends. The Night Howlers played gritty blues rock with touches of classic soul and southern rock at venues around the Metro Atlanta area. When people asked us who we sounded like, we’d usually respond with, “we sound like The Black Keys but shittier.”
In January 2021, The Night Howlers released our debut, six-song EP on all major online music streaming platforms. Releasing original music commercially with a band was actually a childhood dream of mine— and I did it! Below, you can listen to our music via Spotify.
